Evaluation
To better understand the impact of the Health Equity Learning Series on the participants and to glean lessons learned for future efforts, an evaluation is being conducted by Melanie Tran, from University of Colorado Denver. All participants at both in-person events and at viewing parties across the state are surveyed and asked to self-report their knowledge of the health equity topics before and after the speech. Willingness to take action and types of action are also assessed. Grantees hosting viewing parties provide qualitative data, both written and via in-depth interviews, to better understand what is needed to achieve health equity in Colorado. Evaluation contact: nancy [at] coloradotrust.org (Nancy Baughman Csuti, DrPH), director of Research, Evaluation & Strategic Learning, The Colorado Trust, 303-837-1200.
