Rural Philanthropy Days
The Colorado Trust is a longtime supporter of Rural Philanthropy Days (RPD), which connects funders with nonprofit organizations that serve rural Colorado. This event, which takes place twice each year, was created in 1991 by the Community Resource Center (CRC). The event has helped to strengthen nonprofit-funder relations and address critical needs in rural communities across Colorado.
Since 2009, The Trust has annually provided RPD operating support to CRC, and since 2010 has made grants to nonprofit organizations via the RPD events held across Colorado (download a complete list of grantees below). Grants to these nonprofits are typically $5,000 per organization. Grant contact: Morris Price, vice president of grants & impact, (303) 837-1200.
