The Colorado Trust Names Kristin Jones as Assistant Director of Communications

DENVER, COLO.—Kristin Jones has been named the new Assistant Director of Communications for The Colorado Trust. Jones joins The Trust from Rocky Mountain PBS I-News, where she served as the media outlet’s health reporter.

“We are thrilled to have Kristin joining us,” said Ned Calonge, MD, MPH, president and CEO of The Colorado Trust. “Kristin has extensive experience writing on health disparities and other topics related to The Trust’s efforts. We have many important stories to tell about our emerging work in communities across Colorado, and Kristin’s expertise will be essential to accomplishing this and advancing our health equity work.”

Before joining Rocky Mountain PBS I-News in 2013, Jones was previously a reporter at The Wall Street Journal and a staff writer at the Center for Public Integrity. She has also written for ProPublica, the South China Morning Post and The Nation, and has won several national awards for her reporting and writing.
