Grantees

Support for expanding mental and behavioral health services for youth involved in the justice system by increasing service capacity, extending geographic reach and enhancing jail-based support, especially in underserved areas. 

Support for recruiting and supporting 10 psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner students from underserved communities and providing them with funding, coaching and job placement assistance so that they can serve as providers in their own or similar marginalized communities.

Support for providing behavioral health navigation and coordination, harm reduction services, Mental Health First Aid training and other behavioral health initiatives for residents and visitors, especially those from underserved populations. 

Support for a partnership between the Ardent Grove Foundation and the Eating Disorder Foundation providing low-cost trauma-informed mental health care, specialized training, clinical supervision and wraparound services for people with eating disorders, disordered eating and body image issues.  

Support for improving the mental and physical health, economic stability and community integration of immigrants from low-income households by offering peer support groups, health insurance enrollment and debt navigation, women’s health referrals and other support services.

Support for expanding mental health services for older adults, aiming to reduce social isolation and provide access to care through various activities, including social gatherings, care visits and grief groups, and for partnering with community organizations to offer free mental health counseling, group therapy and educational workshops.  

Support for implementing an evidence-based, culturally responsive behavioral health program that integrates Native American cultural teachings, ceremonies and language for supporting Native Americans seeking long-term healing from mental health and substance use disorders. 

Support for offering services for at-risk teens and families from low-income households or marginalized communities, such as supervised visitations, parenting classes, youth programming and connecting families in crisis to free essential services. 

Support for providing mental and behavioral health prevention services and crisis interventions to marginalized youth, and for expanding programming.

Support for expanding and improving mental and behavioral health services for people living with substance use disorder by offering multiple services in the wellness center, such as overdose prevention, harm reduction, medication-assisted treatment, case management and wellness programming.
