Born in Colorado, Payne graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver, receiving a human services degree with a human resources minor. Throughout her career, she has actively contributed to the nonprofit sector and demonstrated expertise in areas such as day-to-day operations, performance management implementation and contributing to fostering inclusive and supportive work environments. In her free time, Payne cherishes spending quality time with her fur baby Dino, a 2-year-old Shih Tzu.
