Colorado Healthy Communities (2025)

As part of The Colorado Trust’s commemoration of its 40th anniversary this year, we’re highlighting past grantees like The Piñon Project Family Resource Center. Founded in 1994 with the help of Colorado Trust funding, the nonprofit provides a variety of programs and resources to families living in Dolores and Montezuma counties in the southwest part of the state. The Piñon Project Family Resource Center is one of the few organizations to be a grantee within four of The Colorado Trust’s most significant funding initiatives over the years.

Learn about the health equity issues affecting Coloradans at Collective Colorado, a publication of The Colorado Trust.
