An overview of the evaluation framework for the grassroots and grasstops components of the Building and Bridging Power strategy, as assessed by Community Science. The report describes the interconnected roles of grassroots and grasstops grantees in organizing people and resources for direct involvement in issues and decision-making arenas, and in creating a lasting, community-centered policy infrastructure. By funding 16 grassroots organizations and seven grasstops partners, BBP strengthened the capacity of communities to take collective action, influence policy, and build meaningful relationships across Colorado. The evaluation illustrates how this strategic approach activated a broad base of residents and ensured that community voices are central to policy advocacy and systems change.
