Preliminary evaluation findings on The Colorado Trust's After-School Initiative, including demographic information on the young people served, the different types of after-school programs, outcomes data, youth satisfaction with the programs and how the youth say they’re changing as a result of these programs. Preliminary, mid-initiative findings of the five-year effort are promising: more than 6,000 youth participate in the 32 after-school programs across the state, and most of these 4th- through 9th-graders say the programs are making a positive difference in their lives.
