Community Members Named to Trust Investment and Audit Committee

The Investment Committee of the Board of Trustees of The Colorado Trust is responsible for overseeing the foundation's investment of its financial assets. Comprised of The Trust's President and CEO, five Board members and three community members, the Committee has named William Jennings - a Professor of Finance and Investments at the U.S. Air Force Academy, as well as a Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Financial Analyst - as its newest community member. Other community members include Linda Pihlak, Manager of International Equities at Qwest Asset Management Company, and Robert Hochstadt, a Principal in GHP Advisors, as well as a CPA and a licensed Personal Financial Specialist.

The Board's Audit Committee - responsible for managing independent auditors on behalf of The Trust, as well as related auditing and monitoring activities - is made up of three Board members and two newly named community members. CPAs James Taucher, a retired Vice President and Controller for MediaOne Group, and William LaJoie, an arbitrator and instructor for the American Arbitration Association, have been named the Committee's community members.

Community members serve up to five one-year terms.
