Colorado Health Institute Announces New Online DatabaseThe new, interactive Data Resources section of the Colorado Health Institute's website provides quick access to current online resources for statewide and county-level data about health, health care and related issues, such as population and other demographic information. Serving as a gateway to the data that policymakers, organizations, health planners, businesses and others interested in health and health care policy need to make informed decisions, the site also provides geographic information, including downloadable maps and tables, as well as detailed county indicators. Additionally, the site maintains current state health rankings and profiles of other related state and national databases. The Colorado Health Institute was created in 2002 by The Colorado Trust, Caring for Colorado Foundation and Rose Community Foundation to provide independent, reliable and relevant health-related information to inform public and private decisionmanking.
