This survey and discussion tool qualitatively and quantitatively measures 11 dimensions of organizational capacity, including governance, management, external relations, human and financial resources, service delivery, evaluation and organizational learning. The tool is designed to be used in a facilitated workshop in which representatives from all levels of an organization collectively score the capacity dimensions. The evaluation of The Colorado Trust’s Healthy Aging initiative is using this tool to determine changes in grantees’ organizational capacity during the multi-year effort.
